Families are forever. The Mormon Tabernacle choir,
Donnie and Marie
Are we talking about the same people? Are you mentally disturbed, Ed?
Or Are you going to reveal a tragic story of men and women – often godly people who have succumbed to the snare of the enemy.
Well, Let me take 20 years of Mormonism and 25 years of study, research and ministry and boil it down to the sludge of heresy that is keeping a wonderful people from inheriting the kingdom of God.
First, let me tell you that almost every Mormon I ever met seeks to please God…they are not His enemies nor ours.. they are victims of a false theology that separates them from the God of the Bible and His promises.
My Final analysis
Either Mormonism is based on the doctrines of God
or those Doctrines of demons the Bible warns us about???
Doctrines: Teaching – Instruction –
What most of the New Testament is About.. DOCTRINE
A body of beliefs about God, man, Christ, the church, and other related concepts considered authoritative and thus worthy of acceptance by all members of the community of faith.
Christ condemned the doctrine of the Pharisees because it was of human origin (Matt 15:9; Mark 7:7). By contrast, Jesus' teaching was not systematic and repetitious. It was fresh and new (Matt 7:28; Mark 1:22,27; Luke 4:32).
After Pentecost, Christian doctrine began to be systematized (Acts 2:42). Doctrinal instruction was given by special teachers (1 Cor 12:28-29; Gal 6:6) to those who had responded to the gospel (Rom 6:17). The earliest doctrine of the Christian church declared: (1) that Jesus was the Messiah, the Christ (Acts 3:18); (2) that God had raised Him from the dead (Acts 1:22; 2:24,32); and (3) that salvation was by faith in His name (Acts 2:38,16). These three truths were presented as a clear fulfillment of the promises of the Old Testament. Paul taught that true doctrine is essential for Christian growth (Eph 4:11-16; 1 Tim 4:6; 6:3; Titus 1:9) and that false doctrine destroys the church (Eph 4:14; 2 Tim 4:3). Doctrines of Jesus:
John 7:15-17
And the Jews marveled, saying,
"How does this Man know letters, having never studied?"
Jesus answered them and said,
"My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.
"If anyone wants to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority. (NKJ)
The Apostles’ Doctrine:
Acts 2:42
And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship,
in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.(NKJ)
Acts 5:27-28
And when they had brought them, they set them before the council.
And the high priest asked them, saying,
"Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name?
And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine,
and intend to bring this Man's blood on us! (NKJ)
Clear and Open Doctrine – Nothing Hidden
Yet warnings came immediately
Gal 1:6-9
I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you,let him be accursed.
As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.(NKJ)
I Corinthians 15:1-5….defines the gospel Paul preached

Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you-- unless you believed in vain.
For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve.
And also in
Isa 9:16
For the leaders of this people cause them to err, and those who are led by them are destroyed.
Hebrews 13: 8-9
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. 9 Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines NKJV…
All Doctrine taught by men must be tested by God’s Word..
2 Tim 4:3,4
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth,
and be turned aside to fables. (NKJ)

THE NICENE CREED, AD 381
I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth and of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of His Father before all worlds, God of God, Light of Light, Very God of Very God, Begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, By whom all things were made;

3: Secret Knowledge?
Luke 12:21-5:
"Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. 2 For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. 3 Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops. "And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. 5 But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him! NKJV
Mark 4:22
"For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light.
Let’s go back to the at first day of Mormonism one more time
Were these two Angels of God who heed his Word
and who do His Word???
Psalm 103
Bless the LORD, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word.
Or were these two demonic beings bringing demonic doctrine?
These are hard questions, but for the sake of souls have to be asked
Remember 2 Cor 11:13-15 ??
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. NKJV
Deceiving spirits with the doctrines of demons?
Let’s put them to the test of God’s Word
On that very first first day….of Mormonism
Who was that marvelous power, this actual being from the unseen world?
Well, according to the doctrines of Jesus and the Apostles, it wasn’t God, was it…and it wasn’t Jesus, was it…or His angels, were they?
This was that angel of light….
What doctrines did this angel of light, this marvelous being bring???
A different God, a different Christ, a different gospel and a different spirit.
2 Cor 11:2-4
3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted--you may well put up with it! NKJV

4. Council of The Gods
LDS….Our god has a god, too
There are many worlds and many gods
our god is just the god of this world. Exists within the creation
The Bible says; One God only who exists outside is own creation
Isa 40:10-14
Behold, the Lord GOD shall come with a strong hand, and His arm shall rule for Him; behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.
He will feed His flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and gently lead those who are with young.
Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, measured heaven with a span and calculated the dust of the earth in a measure? Weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance?
Who has directed the Spirit of the LORD, or as His counselor has taught Him?
With whom did He take counsel, and who instructed Him, and taught Him in the path of justice? Who taught Him knowledge, and showed Him the way of understanding?
None….
Certainly not that marvelous being of light who floated and visited Joseph Smith with the doctrines of demons..
5. LDS Communion
They washed away the reality of the shed blood of Christ

'to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.'
If we can believe Jesus and the Apostles,
As the spirit has expressly warned, they have fallen prey to seducing spirits and the doctrines of demons… And in such state have no entrance to his rest
Heb 3:11
Therefore I was angry with that generation, and said, 'They always go astray in their heart, and they have not known My ways.'
So I swore in My wrath, 'They shall not enter My rest.'
Heb 3:19
So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
Heb 4:1-2
Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it.
For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.
Because of false teachers, they do not have faith in full, for God’s once delivered for all, His holy Word..
Rom 10:1-4
10:1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel [The Mormons] is that they may be saved. 2 For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. NKJV

It was the first time in my life that I had made such an attempt, for amidst all my anxieties I had never as yet made the attempt to pray vocally.
15 After I had retired to the place where I had previously designed to go, having looked around me, and finding myself alone, I kneeled down and began to offer up the desires of my heart to God. I had scarcely done so, when immediately I was seized upon by some power which entirely overcame me, and had such an astonishing influence over me as to bind my tongue so that I could not speak. Why the opposition and persecution that arose against me, almost in my infancy?
