You are filthy anti-Mormon SCUM!

Billsjane@

Dear  Ed,

My name is Doug M  you might remember me as Don M y from the

here in Spokane.  We spoke at one of the Christian

Workers Conferences here in Spokane.  Although I as a pastor knew that

the Mormon Church is a cult I didn't realize how satanic it really is.

I am reading your book the God Makers and am absolute astonished by what

I am reading.  My compliments to you and Dave for doing such a fine job

and for the love you show to the Mormons.  I don't see any hint of a

condemning spirit in the book at all.

My question is this. Since the average mormon is so deceived, how do you

minister to them.  They are so well defended, how have you been

successful in starting the conversation to witness to them.  Any help

you can give will be appreciated.  whenever I get this engrossed in

anything I know that God will be using it.

Thanks

Dear Ed

Married to my Mormon wife now almost 25 years.  I was in the Navy and we had known each other in High School.  When we married, I agreed to go through the missionary lessons (which i did, twice) and she agreed to go with me to church (I am Lutheran) and that children would be able to attend both until they made their own choice.  Of course, this has not been the case, as they have gone with her each and every Sunday (not to mention the 'extra' functions which fill up the week) while I have (had to ask) the boys (we have 6) to come with me.

She blames the fact that they didn't go to my church growing up on my being out to sea and no one from my church ever offering to bring them.  Since they couldn't even go with me, there would have been no way they could have gone with anyone else.

She has been strictly a stay-at-home Mom, as I have never had to make her work, except during my return to college (boys never went with me to church then either).

Basically, I am at the end of my rope.  My oldest is now married and preparing to go through the temple with his wife of 10 months.  My second oldest is finishing his mission.  I have no luck getting the yonger ones to go with me (as you might guess, since they are constantly told it is influenced by satan and the creed is 'blasphemous').

I am at the point, that with the possible exception of divorce and getting possession of the children (likely, as my wife refuses to do housework and won't let the boys do it either, as she needs to 'go through' things.. so our home is a literal dump) I see no other alternative.

My wife (and the LDS church) have the boys wrapped around her finger and they don not listen to anything I say.  Of course, even things I read daily from the Bible are taken without any seriousness, as my interpretation is of no value.

I hope to find your website helpful in my attempts to save my children.  At least some of them may have a chance, but they are all pretty solidly indoctrinated.

Dear Ed Decker

YOU ARE A SICK PIG!

Ed

I came to your website from the back of The God Makers book. I have a 17 year old son (we are Nazarene)

Who is engaged to a Mormon girl and I am very much afraid for him. I want to help him see what he is getting into without alienating him or his girlfriend. Your book has been very helpful. Any other information you can help me with would be very much appreciated.

Yours in Christ,

Merilee

Dear Pastor Ed,

My name is Dan    You probably don't remember me but  I go to the City Church and met you there on a few occasions.   I am currently working as a missionary in Taiwan.  The church of Latter Day Saints have sent another 1000 missionaries to Taiwan this year and the Lord is continuing to give me opportunities to meet with some of them.  If you would have any spare time I would love some advice on not only how to witness to them, but also how to pray against there workings here.  I will also try and order some material from Saints Alive because I know you cannot tell me all I should know in one short email.  I have done some research in the past, but any wisdom you could offer on the matter I would surely appreciate it.  Thank you very much.

Dear Ed,

My wife and I want to thank you, your internet site has helped us leave the Mormon church we both born and raised in it we were married in the temple13 years ago, we did it because of fam. pressure, but with your help I have been able to show my wife we were wrong in doing that, thank God i found you and your teachings it really opened our eyes and has saved our soles, I pray for you and you family. thank you thank you.

Dear Dr. Mouw,

Thank you for your response to my e-mail. I can’t speak for Ed Decker or Dave Hunt, but I know that they would never want anything in print that isn’t 100% true.

You said, “[Decker and Hunt] claim that Mormonism has communistic tendencies--even though Mormons strongly endorse the idea of private property.” Dr. Mouw, that is a mischaracterization of their views. Decker and Hunt note the parallels between the Iron Curtain and the Zion Curtain in terms of oppression, nothing to do with private property rights. They cite specifically the curtailing of freedom of speech and freedom of the press in Utah, not repression of property rights.

You then said, “Worse yet, they claim that ‘Mormons have an almost fanatical aversion to the cross and the shed blood of Christ’ (136).” As you note, they say this on page 136 of the original version (page 149 of the updated and expanded version) of The God Makers.

You focused on a sentence that surely doesn’t apply to all Mormons, just as your apology doesn’t apply to all Christians (despite your "clarification" to the contrary, it certainly doesn’t apply to Dave Hunt). This same God Makers paragraph that you quote from notes that Mormons serve bread and water, not bread and wine at their communion services. Why no wine? This paragraph notes that Mormon chapels and temples lack a cross inside or outside. Why no cross?

You didn’t address the occultic history of the Mormon Church, the lies and deceit of Joseph Smith (Moroni appearing; the golden plates; his claim that "Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it. I boast that no man ever did a work such as I!"; the urim and thummim; etcetera), the Masonic ties to Mormonism, the pursuit of Godhood, the folly of the Book of Mormon (allegedly “the world’s most perfect book”), the string of lying apostles and prophets, the secret temple rituals, or any of the other thoroughly documented claims in The God Makers. Hunt and Decker prove that the Mormons are following a different God and a different Jesus.

You point out, "...there are key passages in the Book of Mormon that echo the message of the Epistle to the Romans." Dr. Mouw, Decker and Hunt document that large sections of the book of Mormon were plagiarized from the King James Bible, right down to the italics where the 1611 translators added words! Nephi's writings, allegedly penned in 500 to 600 B.C., include sections of the gospels. Why would it surprise us to find that portions of the Book of Mormon echo Romans?

The sentence on page 136 may be an overstatement, but if a sincere member of the LDS Church reads The God Makers he won’t be concerned with one overstatement, he will see the gospel contrasted to the outrageous claims of the Mormon Church. As you know, the Bible says, “…the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him” (2 Chronicles 16:9a). Jesus said, “…him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” Untold numbers of Mormons have read The God Makers, have come to Lord, and been born again.

I again ask you to consider apologizing to the brothers that you have wronged. I don’t think that sitting with the enemies of Jesus Christ and taking pot shots at His servants is an effective way to win Mormons to the true God, the God Who never was a man and Who never lived on a planet near a star called Kolob.

Yours in Christ,

Rob Yardley

Thanks for writing. I could give many examples from Hunt and Decker where they seriously misrepresent LDS thought. Here are two: they claim that Mormonism has communistic tendencies--even though Mormons strongly endorse the idea of private property. Worse yet, they claim that "Mormons have an almost fanatical aversion to the cross and the shed blood of Christ" (136). This is simply not true. Robert Millet and others have insisted that the cross--with the substitutionary atonement that was finalized there--is absolutely essential to salvation.

If we are going to witness effectively to Mormons we must at the very least not say things that strike LDS folks as serious misrepresentations of their beliefs.

Bob Millet--a distinguished theology professor at BYU--recently told me a story, one that will appear in print in a book by him to be published in late February. He was meeting with a well known evangelical theologian and in the middle of their conversation the evangelical suddenly asked Bob pointblack: "Bob, if you are at heaven's gate and God asks why He ought to let you in, what would be your answer?" Bob told me that he paused for what seemed like a long time, and then he said, "My only plea would be the merits and mercy of Jesus Christ." The next day he spoke to a large Mormon audience, and he told them about the question, but not about his answer. He asked them what they would say. He told me that he was chagrined at the silence.

Finally a young woman blurted out: "What is the answer?" and he told them what he had said. Then they had a long discussion about why Mormons are reluctant to give that sort of answer. My Mormon scholar friends are emphasizing these days--with the blessing of many in the LDS leadership--salvation by grace through the atoning work of Christ on the Cross. They are doing this by showing that there are key passages in the Book of Mormon that echo the message of the Epistle to the Romans. I find this a very exciting development, and I want to encourage it in any way that I can. You may think I am compromising with evil--that is your choice. But at the very least I want my Mormon friends not to be misled by blatantly inaccurate representations of what they believe. The real disagreements are big enough--we don't need to rely on false-witness-bearing.

Blessings for this new year!

Dear Dr. Mouw,

I was saddened when I heard of your visit to the Mormon Tabernacle. I was horrified to see that you compounded your error by slandering Dave Hunt and Walter Martin in your note to all who were disturbed at your comments.

You don't owe an apology to the Mormon Church, you owe an apology to Dave Hunt and to every man who has lovingly sought to minister the truth to those lost in Mormonism. Please consider rectifying your errors.

I met you, Ed, in Hawaii many years ago. I was 5th generation mormon and Jesus set me free and brought me out of darkness into His glorious light in 1974.

My daughter Dianna was a kidney transplant patient and needed a miracle healing. Since then, she has had many surgeries and near death experiences and then died in 1982. God brought her back and there was so much light in her intensive care room and upon her face that we knew she had an encounter with Jesus but she did not remember it.

Then, her brother gave her a kidney that was a perfect match from God and she celebrated 12/8/2004 her 22nd year of it working perfectly. In celebration, our website has a FREE E-Book of the paperback book I finally wrote after you encouraged me in Hawaii to do so.
www.booktruestory.com

There are photos, testimonies, and even 1st place awards for our website...all by the Holy Spirit direction. We can't take any credit, but I can say it has been a lot of years and chances to be challenged. In the back of my mind was always you encouraging me to go forward. You are such a brave warrior and I want to thank you.

I had your old address and phone and the phone was disconnected. Then it dawned on me to try the internet and there you were as bold as ever. Hallelujah, thank you Jesus for all of the info you have placed out for all of us to come out of Mormonism with, and then to step forward into ministry.

Sorry to run on, but I am so grateful and I appreciate this opportunity to tell you that your efforts have not gone void and I have opportunities at times to pray others out and deliverance from bondage occurs. Jesus is faithful to set the captives free and set them into ministry to glorify our mighty God.

I thank you for the masonry literature I asked for and any other newsletters or updates. I have been on the back burner for years and need to be brought up to speed on all the happenings.

Please pray about the script I am writing based on book and other experiences. I know there is to be a movie, but the doors have to be opened by HIM...

Sir,

I WAS IN CA,STATE PRISON WHEN I CAME ACROSS SOME OF YOUR LITERATURE. I WAS CURIOUS AND WANTED TO KNOW MORE SO I STARTED TO DO MORE RESEARCH ON TOPICS AND PEOPLE LIKE YOU DO. WHAT I WAS SO SHOCKED TO READ AND SEE WITH MY OWN EYE'S WAS THAT WASHINGTON D.C. OUR NATIONS CAPITAL IS SATANICALY LAIDOUT. "WOW"!! SO THEN,I DID SOME RESEARCH ON OUR COUNTRYS' FIRST (10) PRESIDENTS, AND FOUND OUT THAT GORGE WASHINGTON WAS IN VOLVED IN THE BUILDING AND DEDICATION OF SOME BUILDINGS IN WASHINGTON D.C.

A FRIEND ALSO POINTED OUT TO ME THAT THE UNITED STATES HAS FIVE CITIES THAT HAVE THE NAME SALEM,(AND SOME SPELLED BACKWARDS-ALSO IN AN ENIGRAM FORM) THAT MAPS OUT AN INVERTED FIVE POINT STAR,WHICH I UNDERSTAND IS USED IN OCULTIC RITUALS. THIS I HEAR GIVES THE EVIL SPIRITS OR SATAN, ACCESS TO OUR WORLD AND IS AN ABOMINATION TO GOD. I'VE READ A BOOK BY LOU WHITE,CALLED FOSSILIZED COUSTUMS;JACK CHICK PUBLICATION MAGAZINES,ALL OF THEM AND ESPECIALLY "ALBERTO-SRIES";ALEXANDER HISLOP, THE TWO BABYLONS;YNCA'S NEW COVENT ASSEMBLY. JUST TO NAME A FEW?

I AM HISPANIC OR MEXICAN, BORN AND GREW UP IN A CATHOLIC HOME/FMILY. WENT THROUGH ALL THE NORMAL THINGS A CATHOLIC CHILD IS SUPPOSSE TO GO THROUGH;CATICISUM, CONFERMATION...ETC.
TOLD TO KNEEL AND PRAY THE ROSARY,TO THE "SANTHOS" OR STAUTES OF SAINTS. GO TO CONFESSION,EAT BREAD...ETC. BUT WHATS FUNNY IS THROUGH ALL THAT I WAS NEVER TOLD TO PICKUP AND READ THE BIBLE.
I NEVER HEARD ANY PRIEST SAY GO HOME AND READ YOUR BIBLE. NOR DID MY PARENST ENCOURGE ME TO.HOWEVER, NOW LOOKING BACK TO MY YOUTH,TO START AT FOURTH GRADE I WAS INVITED TO A BIBLE STUDY(DID'NT NOW WHAT IT WAS BUT WENT ANY WAY.

THEN SAME THING HAPPEND IN JR.HIGH.HOWEVER, IN HIGH SCHOOL I DIDN'T ATTEND NO BIBLE STUDY,BUT EVANGELIST WOULD APPROACH ME AND MY FRIENDS WHEN WE WOULD GO OUT CRUSSIN. SOME TIMES I WOULD MAKE FUN OF THEM SOME TIMES NO. BUT I KNEW  DEEP IN MY MIND/HEART THAT I WAS WRONG AND WHAT THEY WERE DOING WAS WRIGHT. HOW? WELL GOD GIVES US LITTLE TID BITS OF INFO. HERE AND THERE THROUGHOUT OUR LIVES TO KNOW. THEN THROUGH COLLEGE I STOPED GOING TO CHURCH AND KEPT ON PARTYING AND IN SPORTS. REUNITED WITH MY HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEART, HAD A CHILD AND MOVED IN TOGETHER. HER COUSIN INVITED US TO HIS CHURCH IN VILALIA,CA. PENTICOSTAL BABTIS CHURCH. IT WAS DIFFRENT BUT COOL. DOMINGO-MY GIRLFRIENDS COUSIN INVITED US TO HIS HOUSE FOR A DINNER AND THEN INTRODUCED US TO A BIBLE!  STUDY OR MORE LIKE HOW TO READ THE BIBLE.

WELL I SHOULD SAY I NEVER BEEN IN TROUBLE IN MY LIFE WITH THE LAW BEFORE, UNTILE  I MADE A STUPID MISTAKE AND DID 6 yrs. IN PRISON. AT THIS TIME IN MY LIFE IS WHEN I CAME TO ACTUALLY KNOW THE LORD,JESUS THE CHRIST,OR YESHUA HA MASHIACH. I REALIZED THAT PRISON IS THE BEST PLACE TO WITNESS TO SOULS BECAUSE, MOSTLY EVERY ONE THAT IS THERE IS HURTING FROM SOME PAIN OR LACK OR EMOTIONAL LOVE FROM FAMILY OR FRIENDS. AND SO CAUSES THEM TO GO AND COMMIT CRIMES.

NOW I KNOW MORE ABOUT GOD THAN I EVER WOULD HAVE. I REALIZED THAT THINGS IN LIFE OR EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON AND NOT BY ACCIDENT.SO, THERE IS A REASON WHY I CAME TO KNOW JESUS MORE THAN ANY OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS HAVE???? THE PROBLEM I ENCOUNTER EVERY DAY IN MY FAMILY IS,HAVING TO SEE THEM "NOT" READ THE BIBLE,PRAY TO THE STATUES, SAY THERE ROSARY, BE OBSSED WITH PRAYING TO THE VIRGIN MARY, GOING TO CHURCH AND JUST BLANTANTLY BEING DECIVED RIGHT BEFORE THERE EYE'S. I TRY TO TEACH THEM ABOUT THE FALICIES OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH BU "MAN WATCHOUT"!!!!

ALSO, ABOUT THE PAGAN CUSTOMS OF HOLIDAYS.ABOUT THE PROPHECYIES BEEING FULLFILED IN OUR DAY.

WELL THANK YOU FOR TRYING TO UNDERSTAND WHAT I WROTE AND FOR READING IT. OBVIOULY, THERE'S  ALOT OF INFO. I LEFT OUT BUT, HOPFULLY LATER WE CAN DISCUSS MORE. FOR NOW THOUGH, I ASK THAT YOU PRAY FOR ME AND THAT JESUS KEEPS GIVING ME THE AUDACITY,BOLDNESS,COURAGE,STRENGTH AND SPIRIT TO KEEP UP IN PESTERING MY FAMILY AND FRIEND ABOUT OUR LORD,JESUS THE CHRIST.

AMEN AND MY YESHUA HA MASHIACH BE WITH YOU.

Dear  Ed,

I'm writing to you, as I am desperate to find out what happening to my life. 1st of June 2002 I met a mason guy. A friendship developed between the two of us, which I found was very comforting to me. In October 2002, I met my

present boyfriend and immediately after that a relationship developed with that man. I told my friend about it, and he seemed quiet cool about the matter, in fact he was always wishing me happiness.

As the month went by this mason guy started to change his attitude towards me, he admitted to me that he has fallen in love with me, and that I should

leave my boyfriend. As I declared to him over and over again, that I didn't love him and that he was destroying a beautiful friendship, he became more aggravated with me. He brought me one day a masonry book, and asked me

to read it and see for myself what can happen, when people misbehave. I started to get frightened of him and tried to cut ties completely with him.

But he blackmailed me with his suicide attempts. That happened three times, and every time I return the friendship again. I didn't want to be the cause of him taking his own life for my sake.

After the third suicide attempt I became very sick and was declared with a venereal disease, that I attracted from my boyfriend, who works in the mines. Immediately I remembered what that mason friend had told me before, about

those miners and was very angry I didn't take his advice. I still couldn't open up and tell him what had happened and tried harder of getting rid of that friend. To no avail, he send a death message to my boyfriend that started an

1nvestigation by police, I knew who put it on, but I could not charge him, scared he will harm me.

From that day onwards I have been very sick, I have been to doctors, specialist, X-Rays, scans and lately an operation,

On September 7, 2004. that mason friend committed suicide, leaving a note behind, I was the cause of this. His sister  gave me the news. I was depressed for 4 weeks feeling guilty, for what happened. He was practically living in my

house afterwards as a spirit. I lost my job a day after his suicide. Since then, matters have deteriorated in my love life, and the happiness that I had with my guy has diminished.

I have noticed that every time my boyfriend came down to see me I get sick, and every time leaves, I stay sick for a week later, I am talking about serious pain, that I have to be taken to hospital to stop it. I have come to a decision

to stop seeing my boyfriend for now 5 weeks.

For a simple reason, I want my health back. It's hurting me deeply as I am deeply in love with him and he is deeply in love with me.  All what I am asking you here is to help me, as definitely a curse has been put on me, no one else, nothing happens to anybody, but me.

I am a Christian who has faith in the creator, but lately I am asking why and how can this happen and I pray  continuously for help and relief. If you can help me, please do, I don't know who to turn to anymore. Thanking you kindly,

Therese

Dear Mr. Decker,

I want to start by thanking you and Ron for putting your
time in on the book FAST FACTS ON FALSE TEACHINGS. It has
really been a blessing for me

I have been a Christian since I was 13 years old. I grew up
in a big Baptist in Florida where my mother was the organist
for many years. The book has really been an eye opener for
me. I've none about the different religions but did not
know the root of there beliefs. I have read the book through
and now I'm going back through and studying it like a text
book to learn and pass on to others. Starting the first of
the new year I'm going to buy more books and write a
challenge in the cover of the books and give them to my
friends to read and pass on also.

I have a question I would like to ask. My wife's aunt
is a member of the Christian Scientist Religion. I would like to

know more about there beliefs so I would be able to talk with here.

She has a Bible but she has another book she reads out of also.

Can you point me in the right direction to find some material on that Religion?

Thank You
Love in Christ
Joe

Dear Mr. Decker

First great web sight, it is helping me out a lot. I wonder if I could just bend your ear. Some questions. I feel that God maybe leading me in to "cult" minestry. (Against cults not for them!!) Do you know of any good colleges? Or how would I go about finding out more?

I know Jesus is the one who changes peoples hearts over all, but is there something you can say to Mormons to show them "the light?"

I am 26, and I have been a Christian since I was 7. I have been on the mission field for the last 27 months but I am wondering what my next step could be (Bible college I think.) I am from England, and will be home on the 24th of this month. Thanks for your help.

God bless

Matthew

My name is Rev Jim Wilson with Building Bridges Ministries and I am respectfully requesting any books or materials that you can sow into this ministry.  My wife Annette and I, started this ministry reaching the local jail, then prison, then surrounding communities jails, prisons, and homeless and started with about 150 people now we minister to over 2300 men, women and children.  The call was so great that my wife and I literally sold our house and used the proceeds to further this ministry, we recently sold our car to do the same thing, now we are completely out of resources and funding and we know how much reading materials, Bibles, music, movies are to the men and women and families of these men and women as they diligently are seeking to hear from God.  We are trying to be Christ in Action even to the point of our own hurt.  We have a heart for these people.  I believe that where there is vision there is provision and God laid it upon my heart to contact you and to ask for any materials that you may be able to sow into this outreach ministry.

We ask for continued blessings for you and your ministry and ask that God will multiply these blessings back to you.

Respectfully,

Rev Jim Wilson

Dear Mr. Decker,

Hello.  My name is Matt Bloomer and I am a Bible believing Christian living in the Kansas City area.  Although I have never been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the Lord has given me a heart for the misled and spiritually blinded people that are members of that church.  I have read many books on the topic and am currently reading your book The God Makers.  I respect what you are doing as well as what you have already done in your ministry, and I was wondering if I could ask you a question.  I was wondering what you would say are the best ways that a regular guy like me can make a difference for the Lord in the lives of the members of the LDS church.  I pray for the couple of mormon friends that I have, but besides that I am kind of at a lost as to what to do to help these poor people.  Any help that you can offer or suggestions that you can make would be greatly appreciated.  T! hank you for your time.

                                                                                        Yours truly,

                                                                                              Matt

:  I heard Mr. Decker on the radio some time back, but I think I found the web site through one of the other Mormon Info sites I visit.
We live in a VERY tiny community with quite a few Mormons.  My daughter is also "going out with" a Mormon boy, and my oldest son who lives in Phoenix keeps meeting Mormon young people at the Tech school he's at...so my interest is Piqued.
We are faithful Christians, and it just breaks my heart to see all these wonderful people not understanding the truth.
Thank you for your wonderful site! And thank you for all the free info you make available.  It has really been such a help.

Subject: Question

My husband and I are Christians and have been aware of your ministry since 1978.  My husband's brother is a Mormon and we have been praying for and talking with him and his family for many years.  We have read your books and are grateful to God for the resources available to educate on the false teachings of Mormonism.

Recently a question came up in a discussion with a fellow believer and I would like to hear your answer to it.  Mormons are known for their missionary zeal.  Is there an eternal reward for the number of converts they bring into Mormonism?  Or is it based on works, merely getting out and investing the time in mission work?  I know they are very works oriented, but what is the personal motivation for them spending 2 years as missionaries in their early 20's?

Thank you for your thoughts on this issue and thank you for your ministry!!  Be encouraged ~ don't grow weary!  There is much to be done to educate the Body of Christ and the Lord has accomplished much through your ministry!!

Blessings ~ Barbara .

Dear Barbara.....   The Mormon kids are taught from the pre-school age that they will be called on a mission from God and that it is their responsibility to go where and when God wants them. Parents and the kids also  put money away for the missions trip even when they are babies....On their departure, they speak to the local ward and get all kinds of pats on the back and the parents are beaming at the holy righteousness of their family..

It is a rite of passage for every obedient young man and now, even the young women are pressured. It would be an unfaithful family not to send their youth out and a bit of a disgrace  to the family if the kid says no..or comes home early.

the ones who make it all the way are feted when they come home, usually to a young Mormon girl awaiting her hero and they  quickly have a temple marriage and then the next generation starts 9 months later.

the going on the mission is a necessary step in the LDS goal for exaltation.. the numbers are not that important. Actually a full term 2 year  mission only grosses an average of 14  converts, usually counting the kids of their converts....

In reality, 80% of the converts leave the church within the first two years.. a huge drop out rate caused by the things the missionaries 'don't tell' them about, like becoming gods..

On top of that the church is struggling to get the kids to go on missions anyway... the numbers in the fields has gone down by almost 20,000 in the last 5 years or so...  and 25% of them leave the mission  early..a big  dropout rate of kids who go home in disgrace...

those that do the two years have another great drop.. 50% go inactive or leave the church within 2 years of their return.

While a zealous Missions president may tell the missionaries that each convert counts in their exaltation, the brethren are willing to lose  3 young men to gain the 4x14 = 56 converts...less 80%= a net gain of 11 ... that's the hidden reality..

I did an in-depth article on this  with all the LDS sources of reference. It is on my website   do a search on our site for "missionary" and it should pop it up.

I am actually in Australia right now and  do not have  web access except for a few minutes here and there, so I can zap this to you in the next day or two, I can't open my website.

Pray for the boy, that he will not go, that he will break the chain of LDS bondage in his family once and for all.. Even if he does go on the mission. Keep him in prayer that he realize the lies he is telling are not from God.

God Bless You,
Ed Decker

Mr. Ed
I find your website very interesting.  The way you twist LDS church doctrine around to fit your goals.  I especially like the email that said LDS missionaries are told to go to other churches and spread their word.  I went to two different churches on my mission in Bakersfield, CA (J.W. and a local) both by invitation and against the wishes of mission leadership. I, nor anyone else, was admonished to attend the services of other faiths, actually the opposite.  I just thought that was funny how ya'll posted that, allowing the twist to further...twist.

I also thought it was funny that you don't mention on your website of "Who We Are" what that crisis in your life was that made you find the real Jesus.  The easy Jesus.  Wasn't it (the crisis) what got you ex'ed in the first place.  Sorry to see that you can't keep promises with yourself and GOD and that your not being "truly" honest Ed.  I hope you read your letter from the First Presidency often, and take their words to heart.

Mr. Hintze,

You might want to consider checking your facts before you write emails such as this. If you looked at the exact copy of my excommunication records [ the originals are on file at Utah State Special collections library, file #210] that are on my site, you would see  it was at my request, solely, that my name was removed from the church records.

and if you really want to understand the "Crisis in my life" that led me to find the real Jesus, you might look at :

and  I am  somewhat amused that  while you chide me on my integrity, you do so  from  your company's email system.

  Mr Decker

What does writing you from my company email system have to do with anything.  For all you know, which you don't, it could be the only place I have to get internet access.  A young married college student with 2 children doesn't allow a lot of amenities.  Unlike you and your "ministry".  I have read all your documents and just find it "funny" that you don't tell your followers of your family history, especially with your wife.

Anyways I appreciate the time given to write back.  I know your busy with all your books and hilarious video/cartoons.  I had a chance to watch 'Joseph Smith and the Temple of Doom' while on my mission.  Very entertaining, and very full of obvious lies.  It was a joke to me and very disappointing to see that you have to use your talents on something so un-Christ-like.

Again thanks for your time.
