Here we are again, still doing national radio on the Mormon’s and Glenn Beck and our battle concerning the Muslim Victory Mosque at ground zero and personally, trying to handle the explosion of critical e-mails from Mormons, Mason and Muslims asking hard questions and seeking truth.

Has Ed Decker gotten soft in his old age?
I gave a very rare hour and a half interview last week to the folks atwww.mormonexpression.com and was hosted by John Larsen. It was all about my life and Ministry.
There were lot's of "Mormon" questions/ rumors asked/answered. Especially rare since it was with the group, Mormon Expressions. They are a group of dedicated Mormons, liberal Mormons and former Mormons. Actually a pretty good group of people and a healthy mix, as far as I can see. John Larsen was most gracious.
I sent word out to some of my ministry friends about the interview and this was the response from Dr. Ron Carlson.

I spoke on Mormonism tonight in Oklahoma City and came back to the Hampton Inn and found your email. It's after midnight here and I just finished listening to all 1 hour and 27 minutes of your interview. It was not only spellbinding but GREAT!!!!!! You were so loving and gracious. And wow, what a powerful Gospel message you shared throughout as well as dispelling all the false rumors about you. It was Powerful. God really spoke through you. On the Question: Are Mormons Christian
I answered, Rather, Don't you think Mormons are Muslims?
They both say that Jesus was not the end of the law, but pointed the way.. That there would be a 'final' prophet who would rise up and complete God's work here on earth, each with new scripture and revelations.. Both are clearly non-Trinitarian.
While Mormonism does teach three gods, they are non-biblical creatures, separate beings, twice born through acts of sex...except the Holy Ghost.. he was only born as a spirit being..
They both have to earn their 'salvation.' And both teach that when the leader has spoken, the think has been done. Just obey. Yes, they are certainly more Muslim than Christian.
Mormonism and Islam: a quick Comparison
Both belief systems teach that they have the only true and complete religion/ faith
on the face of the earth.
Both reject Christianity as corrupted. Both teach the plurality of wives, both on earth and in here-after Both teach that the Bible is corrupt and mistranslated. Both revealed God’s true scripture.
Both reject original sin and the doctrine of the trinity. Both teach a salvation by good works. Both use special training classes to ingrain their dogma in their youth. Both use a lay clergy. Both founded by a holy uneducated prophet
Both founding prophets had angelic visitations that they were to restore Adamic religion. Both prophets words/teachings were above scripture or earlier prophets.
Both teach a theocratic form of government Both teach a here-after with graded rewards for works. Both claim to be the world’s fastest growing religion.
Groundbreaking for new LDS temple in Rome
- SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -ABC4News, Salt lake City, Utah October 25, 2010
Mormon church president Thomas S. Monson presided Saturday over a groundbreaking ceremony for Italy's first Mormon temple.
The Deseret News reports that after offering a prayer of thanksgiving, Monson turned a maiden load of dirt with a shovel to commence construction of the Rome Italy Temple.
Monson says the temple in Rome will spare 25,000 Mormons in Italy long trips to reach a temple.
It will be the 12th Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints temple in Europe. Plans for a temple in Lisbon, Portugal were recently announced.
Hundreds of LDS Italians were on hand for the LDS president's first visit to Italy in over 30 years. They were joined by several civic leaders.
Can you believe the arrogance behind this move, understanding what the Mormons say about the Catholic Church?
That's like the Muslims building their Victory Mosque at ground Zero.
The Mormons call the Catholic Church the whore of all the earth...Putting their cultic, pagan temple right under the nose of the Pope. They must be getting a big laugh out of this one! See their scriptural back-up for it..
Book of Mormon, I Nephi 14:
9 And it came to pass that he said unto me: Look, and behold that great and abominable church, which is the mother of abominations, whose founder is the devil.
10 And he said unto me: Behold there are save two churches only; the one is the church of the Lamb of God, and the other is the church of the devil; wherefore, whoso belongeth not to the church of the Lamb of God belongeth to that great church, which is the mother of abominations; and she is the whore of all the earth.
