A Special Note From Ed
Somehow or other, Thanksgiving has passed and we are looking at Christmas speeding toward us. I want to thank the Lord that He has taken us through another year, another season. We are so grateful.
In January, we will celebrate 33 years in the ministry. Hundreds of thousands of lives have been plucked out of the mire of false religion in those years. Those of you who have been standing with us, some for almost the entire time, have made this experience possible with your prayers and financial support. God has been so good to us. So many of you are like family, especially those of you who write notes or share your prayer needs with me.
As some of you know, my personal ministry to you comes in my time of prayer and your notes on the back of the return cards are the way you can let me pray with knowledge about your personal needs. I take the last two weeks of each December [and spill over into January] to pray with a special urgency for each of you and for every prayer request that comes in. When I was a bit younger, I would pray long into the night. These days I pray long into the day, but the God above all gods hears and responds.
If you have a special need, please send me an email right away. I want to join with you in prayer this Christmas season.
For those of you who responded to my recent plea for financial help. Thank you for your generous giving. We are still in the RED and for those who have yet to respond, I pray that you will consider a special year end gift or a commitment to be a regular supporter of this next short season of time. I ask for the sake of those lost in spiritual darkness. They need someone to point the way out. Please help us help them.
Your brother in Christ,
Ed Decker
Remembering The Day I Left
It seems like just yesterday when I stood in the hallway of the Bellevue, Washington LDS Stake Center waiting to be called in for my Excommunication trial. The Stake presidency was in there along with the Stake High Council, as well as about 4 or 5 Bishops. It was October 21, 1976.
LDS regulations for such a trial required that six of the Stake High Council be my advocates in the hearing. When I asked to have them identified, I was denied. In reality, they were there to rubberstamp whatever the presidency decided.
My repeated demand for my name to be removed from their church records made their decision pretty easy, but I was able to explain why for the better part of an hour. If you are looking at following my example and getting your name off the church’s membership list, visit my detailed article called Exodus: http://www.saintsalive.com/mormonism/exodus.html
For those of you who have been told that I was ex’d for moral sins, the Court said in its formal decree:
This was the result of your request that your name be removed from the records of the Church. As we hope you are aware, this action was taken without any animosity toward you by any member of the Church.
In fact, our concern for your eternal salvation has increased rather than diminished. As of this time, you have cut yourself off from any part or portion of the Celestial Kingdom.
We must remind you that when the final decision was made, you were the one who requested that your name be removed from the records of the Church. This decision was yours and yours alone.
The Present Economic Turmoil
There is no doubt that things have gotten pretty tough for most of us. Many of our homes are losing value and the dollar is buying less than ever. Many jobs are disappearing as fast as banks. In Seattle, WaMu failed and the buyer is laying off something like 3400 local people.
The Stock Market is not a happy place and for those of us who have been scrimping away to put money in 401Ks, the rumors that the new administration and congress are seriously thinking about nationalizing them, folding them into the already sinking SS system is scary.
A few months ago, as I was praying about the loss of income to the ministry at this critical time, the Lord really took me to task and I knew I was not acting according to Biblical wisdom. The Bible says that in times like this, we MUST trust Him who provides all things. Be encouraged!
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Phil 4:19
Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds? Luke 12:23-25
"And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you. Luke 12:29-31

Journey From Mormonism
Christine Carroll
www.lulu.com/content/534609 I have known Christine Carroll for almost 30 years and she has never wavered in her new faith, once she saw the truth about the Mormon Church This book, almost 240 large, 8 ½ by 11 pages, documents her attempt to vindicate Mormonism and her consequent discovery of the real Jesus and the real truth about her faith. It is a must read for Mormons and Christians both! It is extremely well documented. Download it and use it as a study guide!
Fun Letters
I am sometimes chastised for only publishing letters from some of the many positive ones I receive. I thought you would enjoy seeing what the average LDS Missionary has to say about those of us who have left the LDS church for the real Jesus.
Ed,
I always wanted to thank you for making the Godmakers. I can't tell you how many people I baptised [sic] while on my mission every time that movie was shown. I think that what it ultimately did was rid the LDS church of the garbage, and bring the elect into the church. I had one couple join the church as a result of watching the movie....their resononing [sic] was that anything Satan is fighting that hard against must be of God. She later went on to be a relief society president and he a bishop.
I knew several people who left the church as a result of it, but much like yourself, they were people who could not live up to the church and needed to leave anyway. So while you see your ministry as something to save people from the church, I think you are on the earth to help rid the church of the non-elect and allow them to ultimately take their place, with you, in Hell. So keep up the good work.
Kevin
We will keep up our work, for sure, Kevin. We really do want your garbage, your throw-away, non-elect people. So does Jesus.
I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. Luke 15:7
HaHaHaHa
Here is another bright missionary. Gotta wonder what they feed them.
hahaha, man i'm checkin this site you got here...and uh, not gunna lie man, i just can't figure out what you're tryin to do here. I mean you lead like a couple away every now and then, haha but man us mormon missionaries are just baptizing like crazy out here in Ohio, and i know it's the same world wide. Hahaha, so yea i still can't figure out what you are trying to do, with this little situation you have gotten yourself in. Trying to get a foot hold on us missionaries er something like that, hahaha, just not gunna happen man, haha. Derrick Likes [Sic, Sic, Sic]
Palestinian leader, Islamist chief discuss Temple Mount takeover
They seek to solidify control over Judaism's holiest site
With the election of someone who wants to negotiate with our mid east enemies without pre-conditions and work out a non aggressive solution and his appointment of a pro-Palestinian Chief of Staff, my Jewish friends are preparing for an all out war to hit them soon. One said that they were now expecting the Messiah.
Not-withstanding the fact that He was already there and we Christians are expecting His soon return, the mid-east is a boiling point of fulfilling prophecies.
Watch the news and see Biblical prophecy fulfilled before your eyes. The day of the Lord is soon at hand.
