A Note From Ed

Dear Friends,

Theses are exciting times in our ministry. Recently, DNA evidence proved once and for all that the American and Meso-American Indians are not the descendants of Jewish settlers but that they have entirely different DNA patterns.

The President of the LDS Church just said that ‘the jury is still out on DNA.’  But, now, the Jury is in and these Indians ‘just ain’t no-way’ Jewish. Last week, I met with a man from the Middle East who was deeply offended when a guest speaker at our home church stated that the god of Islam was not the God of the Bible. He claimed he was a Christian and needed clarification. As we sat in the small counseling room, he was all smiles and then proceeded to “set the stage” for our discussion.

He immediately went into a long attack on the reliability off the Bible, in part claiming that the Book of John was really written by Mary Magdalene and that she was the “beloved disciple… Shades of “The Divinci Code.”

After an hour and a half of his ranting against the Bible and the Church and Christianity and my many attempts to quiet him down and get to the point of the meeting, he raged up and glorified Islam and Mohammed as the true peacemakers of the world. I finally told him to leave and for the next ten minutes, in a closed room away from anyone else, recognized I was possibly in mortal danger. I took spiritual authority of the demons being manifest and he finally left shouting curses on our church and me.

I shook my head over the incident and thanked the Lord for His protection. In retrospect, I knew two things. First, to never let myself get in such a vulnerable place as I did with a Muslim, no matter how much he smiled. Second, that in close to 50 encounters with Muslims in the past, the very first thing every one of them did was to attack the authority of the Bible. Because the Bible clearly shows that the god of Islam is an idol. The Bible predicted the very behavior I experienced.

A Different God Than Ours

The reason a Muslim cannot be worshipping the same God is that Islam rejects the divinity and the atonement of Jesus, the bedrock of Christianity. And since they reject the whole house of Israel, they are earnestly bowing at the altar of a false god.

For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh . This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 2 John 7 NKJV

1. The description of the deceiver and his deceit-he confesses not that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh (v. 7); he brings some error or other concerning the person of the Lord Jesus; he either confesses not that Jesus Christ is the same person, or that Jesus of Nazareth was the Christ, the anointed of God, the Messiah promised of old for the redemption of Israel, or that the promised Messiah and Redeemer has come in the flesh, or into the flesh, into our world and into our nature; such a one pretends that he is yet to be expected. Strange that after such evidence any should deny that the Lord Jesus is the Son of God and Saviour of the world!

2. The aggravation of the case-such a one is a deceiver and an antichrist (v. 7); he deludes souls and undermines the glory and kingdom of the Lord Christ. He must be an impostor, a wilful deceiver, after all the light that has been afforded, and all the evidence that Christ has given concerning himself, and the attestation God has given concerning his Son; and he is a wilful opposer of the person, and honour, and interest of the Lord Christ, and as such shall be reckoned with when the Lord Christ comes again. Let us not think it strange that there are deceivers and opposers of the Lord Christ's name and dignity now, for there were such of old, even in the apostle's times.

The sum of revealed religion is comprehended in the doctrine concerning Christ, his person and office. We see then the aggravation of a systematic opposition to him and it. And this is that spirit of antichrist whereof you have heard that it should come, and even now already is it in the world, v. 3. It was foreknown by God that antichrists would arise, and antichristian spirits oppose his Spirit and his truth; it was foreknown also that one eminent antichrist would arise, and make a long and fatal war against the Christ of God, and his institution, and honour, and kingdom in the world. This great antichrist would have his way prepared, and his rise facilitated, by other less antichrists, and the spirit of error working and disposing men's minds for him: the antichristian spirit began betimes, even in the apostles' days. Dreadful and unsearchable is the judgment of God, that persons should be given over to an antichristian spirit, and to such darkness and delusion as to set themselves against the Son of God and all the testimony that the Father hath given to the Son! But we have been forewarned that such opposition would arise; we should therefore cease to be offended, and the more we see the word of Christ fulfilled the more confirmed we should be in the truth of it.

Dear Ed,

Two Mormon Missionaries came to my home.   They told me they were so glad to meet me as I was a direct descendent of Parley Parker Pratt (two generations back).  I invited them in to my home.  I pulled out a copy of the family history and genealogy written by my grandmother’s brother that was published in the 1960s.  It covered the genealogy of the three families of my grandmother’s father, a polygamist in Utah.  I first showed them a picture of Parley Parker Pratt.  Then I shared that I was deeply disturbed by the Foreword of the book.   On the very first page of the document I let them read the words of my grandmother’s brother.

In studying the lives of our forefathers I have come to realize that we have been blessed with having in our veins the best blood of all the nations of the earth …

In studying the lives of the Patriarchs we are of the blood of Israel, being descended from Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph who was sold into Egypt, and of his son Ephraim.

There are circumstances now in our own United State that are very dangerous  We all know that the law of this land has now forced integration of the Negro and the white race.  Most of the people of the South protest any move toward integration because it can only lead to inter-racial marriage so the Negroes are coming north by the thousands.  It is said that they will never be satisfied until they can freely marry our children.

One of the Patriarchs of the church speaking in our ward told a story of one of the lovely Western girls meeting and marrying a seemingly very nice young man who was in the armed forces stationed near her home.  When her first child was lain at her side she was stricken with grief as she recognized this forbidden blood showing up in its face.  Her husband desired her to go and see his parents in the South.  When they arrived at the depot of his home town they were met by his parents, and to her horror, his mother was a Negro.  So we can’t be too careful!   The Patriarch warned that in this dangerous situation this nation has come into it would be wise for every boy and girl contemplating marriage to use great caution not to marry into this blood and as a final security to each, get a patriarchal blessing so that their lineage can be determined before hand.

I make all this comment about his problem as a warning to Father’s descendents “to shun the very appearance” of any familiarity with that cursed race and to keep our choice white skin free from the “Mark of Cain” …

When the two female missionaries read these words, they were troubled and befuddled.  They could not explain why such words were written.  They asked whether he was a Mormon in good standing.  The written materials that followed definitely portrayed the author as a Mormon in very good standing.  One of them acknowledged that while she was at BYU she remembers a building named after the author.  They did not know what to say after that to respond to the offensive words in the Foreword.

Oh No! Who turned us into Mormons??

It was bad enough when the Three Stooges were just morons, now the LDS Church has made Moe, Curly and Larry into Mormons.

I find it particularly interesting when LDS Doctrine has taught that when you are baptized into the LDS Church; your blood is changed into Hebrew blood.  In a later, Patriarchal blessing for worthy Mormons, each Mormon is told what Jewish bloodline now courses through their body.

For me, it was a strange thing. I was already in the bloodline of Levi, through my Jewish born mother. After my LDS baptismal dip, I was suddenly of the lineage of Ephraim.

It was a hard blow to have my blood switched around like that. A Levite is a servant of the most high. Ephraim dressed up nice for parades but was a weak man who defiled God.  He was a pompous man taken by his own vanity, in love with the things of the flesh.

For now, O Ephraim, you commit harlotry; Israel is defiled. Hos 5:3

"Ephraim is joined to idols, Let him alone. Hos 4:17

Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke; Among the tribes of Israel I make known what is sure. Hos 5:9

"Ephraim also is like a silly dove, without sense — Hos 7:11

This was the one the Mormons have chosen for the bloodline of the majority of their people. You have to wonder why. Then, we see the same traits throughout the leadership and priesthood pride of the LDS and can understand the reasons from a spiritual viewpoint.

The LDS Church used to teach that we were the REAL Jews and the blood transfers were restoring us to the early purity of our new [impure] lineage. You don’t hear much about that doctrine these days, but it is a root doctrine of Mormonism.

So, these vicarious baptisms of Jews is somehow a holy restoration of the fallen Jews to the right root of Judaism and will continue on, even in secret, despite all the angry cries from the Jewish world.

PROXY BAPTISM OF JEWS: THE SPLASH GOES ON

Behind closed temple doors, and unquestionably in defiance of the May 1995 agreement between Mormons and Jews, in which the LDS Church promised to cease temple ordinances for deceased Jews who are not direct ancestors of living Mormons, the practice never stopped. Since 1995, Mormons have performed proxy ordinances for most Jewish notables, including prominent Israeli political figures: Yitzhak Rabin, Moshe Sharett, Golda Meir, David Ben-Gurion and Theodor Herzl--along with hundreds of thousands of other Jews, including multitudes of Jews in the arts, the sciences and in the entertainment field--such as Gilda Radner, the Marx Brothers and the Three Stooges. Even Jews on the Titanic, who went into the icy waters of the North Atlantic with the Jewish Shema prayer on their lips, spoken with their last breath, have been proxy baptized and proclaimed as members of the LDS Church.

There is no way to accurately count the number of Jews who have been subjected to proxy ordinances since the agreement was signed. The figure is probably staggering and over a million. In seven years of intensive research, I have amassed a sizeable collection of copies of post-1995 proxy ordinance entries for obvious Jews from the LDS Church’s database of posthumous ordinances, the International Genealogical Index (IGI). Sources are usually not cited in the IGI, but I have found many entries that were taken from identifiable Jewish sources, such as Holocaust lists and synagogue records.

According to LDS belief, the only way to enter the highest "heaven" is by being baptized through Mormon rite. Mormons advise those who protest that proxy baptism does not necessarily make dead Jews into Mormons; it gives their souls, which retain free will, the ability to choose "the true Gospel of Jesus Christ" and thus the opportunity to enter the highest kingdom in the hereafter. However, the baptismal and confirmation prayers used by Mormons in their temples are explicit in their content. Deceased parties are baptized by proxy without the option to decline. They are then confirmed as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by proxy and supposedly given the gift of the Holy Ghost, again without the option to decline. If Mormons, in general, are so adamant that the dead always have the opportunity to accept or reject these posthumous ordinances--then why is this choice not reflected in the wording of their baptismal and confirmation prayers?

If Jews live their lives in the earthly domain as devout Jews, why would they want to deny their religious existence here and adopt some other faith in the world to come? What are some of the deeper implications of proxy baptism?

LDS rites for the dead are unbridled attempts to deny the legitimacy of the religious beliefs of lives already lived and to manipulate deceased parties into Mormonism, under the pretext of supposedly offering these voiceless and defenseless souls the highest degree of spiritual glory in the hereafter. The practice of proxy baptism is the ultimate in religious intolerance. Who are Mormons to say they carry the only "keys" to open heaven's gates-- and then offer these "keys" to Jewish deceased who must either accept this offer or miss out on "celestial glory"?

What Mormons perceive as a service to humanity and not an offense to others is nothing more than self-delusion. Proxy baptism is a form of religious libel. Heartfelt as it may seem to Mormons, it ultimately casts doubt on the Jewish heritage of all Jews, including Jewish religious, philosophical, political and cultural leaders. Centuries from now, when people look to historical documentation about Jewish figures, they'll find that the LDS Church's public lists may show these deceased Jews as Mormons. The private lists of the LDS Church will most certainly show them as such. Mormons may have removed many names of Jews from their IGI records, currently available for public viewing, but the LDS Church maintains private ordinance lists. And, once performed, no LDS ordinance is ever undone, nor is there any procedure by which an ordinance can be reversed, despite vehement protest. 

LDS Church members cross the line by collecting the names of multi-thousands of Jews murdered in the Holocaust and inflicting yet another injustice upon them in the form of posthumous ordinances. These innocents died for no other reason than because they were Jews. For the sake of collective Jewish memory, their religious identities must remain intact. Proxy baptisms help to whitewash the Holocaust by attempting to remove the Jewish identities of those who were murdered. And for the sake of historical accuracy, the religious identity of these victims of the Holocaust must remain unquestioned.

Jewish Holocaust victims, described by the Church as having been removed from the IGI database, are reappearing in the lists of the posthumously baptized, name after name, family after family. Some of these Holocaust victims, murdered as young teenagers, have no direct descendants, yet the Mormon faithful submit their names anyway, falsely claiming descendancy. Zealous Mormons are still pouring names of Jewish Holocaust victims into the LDS temple system. Some of these names are showing up in the IGI showing death camps, such as Auschwitz or Sobibor, on the entries.

Mormons are attempting to revise history through proxy baptisms. LDS proxy temple ordinances for Jews demonstrate total disrespect for Jews and Jewish feelings and should not be tolerated by any self-respecting Jew on the face of this earth.

Even as Jewish leaders hold private negotiations with LDS officials on this long unresolved issue, after almost eleven years of continuous agreement breaches by Mormons, where is the outrage? Are these Jewish leaders quietly capitulating to reassurances from LDS officials that there will be new methods to curb the enthusiasm of overzealous Mormons and prevent them from submitting names of Jews from whom they are not directly descended into the LDS Church's temple system?

Why do Jewish leaders continue to overlook the huge number of deceased Jews subjected to proxy ordinances in violation of the 1995 agreement? Shouldn't they emphatically seek redress from the LDS Church that repeatedly gives, and then breaks its word to Jews, all the while shamefully denying wrongdoing? Don't the Jewish leaders who were involved in the signing of this legal agreement have a responsibility to the worldwide Jewish community to take decisive action against this group of religious revisionists who think they are the exclusive caretakers of salvation?

Representing the memory of every single deceased Jew subjected to posthumous ordinances by Mormons in blatant violation of the 1995 agreement should be the primary task of the Jews who signed this document. Why have these Jewish leaders collectively abdicated their moral and ethical responsibility to ensure that the provisions of the agreement are finally and firmly enforced?

A Christian should be like Christ in his boldness. Never blush to own your religion; your profession will never disgrace you: take care you never disgrace that.      When is it going to be enough...  You will never ever destroy the Lord's Kingdom on Earth...  The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints will never fall...   NEVER...  I promise you in the name of the Lord that you are wasting your time and life away trying to tear something down that cannot be brought to destruction... There are reasons why the church is rapidly growing and maybe it's because the Lord is at the head of it...

      I was taught at a very young stage in my life that "By the fruits ye shall know them."

      Ed, I can see your fruit and it doesn't bring forth righteousness...  I have studied your literature and there is no spirit about it...  You thrive on what you can't explain and it's sad because the Lord has no part in what you’re doing...  Again Ed, by their fruits you shall know them...

Dear Bret...

Thanks for taking the time to write. I can appreciate your frustration with someone like me,  I am sorry that you feel like I waste my time doing what I do, but thousands of others would strongly disagree with you. They are those who found truth in what I say, That the Church of Christ is not the LDS church, that its doctrines are unbiblical and doctrines that take away salvation instead of bringing it to the lost.

In fact, your work goes primary to the saved and brings the false doctrines that lead them to destruction.. The Word has something to say about that.

"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves.  Matt 23:15

 And one other thing, Bret. Stop claiming rapid growth. that is not real.  It is not happening. Even the church owned Salt Lake Tribune reported that its missionary effort is failing. [That's you, Bret]  See my recent newsletters that detail those facts on www.saintsalive.com.

The LDS church is losing 80% of its missionary converts in the first year and 25% of its missionaries while on their missions and half of the rest after they get home after a full mission. Why is that, Bret..?  Because you lie to the people, con them into the church... and they find out after a few months of sitting in Ward meetings, pack up, and leave.

In the last 30 years, I, along with many others, have been telling the truth of Mormonism  and over 1,000,000 people have left the church. That's a good many people who found out that The Kingdom of God Isn't headquartered in Utah, that Christ is not the head of your kingdom. Dress up all you want when you go door to door, but underneath that white shirt and dress slacks is  a false teacher with a false priesthood  coming with a false gospel.

"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly,
but inside are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness.
Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men,
but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

You need to pray about those doctrines you do not share with the investigator, why you hold back certain doctrines until they are snared into the church. Is it because  these  doctrines are the doctrines of demons we have been warned about in the Scripture?

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith,
giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.
1 Tim 4:1

 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ
For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached,
or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received,
or a different gospel which you have not accepted — you may well put up with it!
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.
And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness,
whose end will be according to their works.

Today, because you cannot hide any longer behind the ' quaintness' factor of the Mormon Church, the church is losing members faster than you can drag them in.. That why the church is fielding so many thousands less missionaries. Who would want to send their kids when,  between the ones who fail their mission and those who drop out after they get home, only a few remain active in the church after their sacrifice of two years.?? 

Finally, Bret you quote scripture to me "Again Ed, by their fruits you shall know them... " It is interesting that you use that verse, because it isn't referring to good fruit, as you claim for the LDS  Church, but bad fruit.. from false prophets.

It says:

"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
You will know them by their fruits.
Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
Matt 7:15-20
